Designer Furniture Canada ships to major cities and surrounding areas in Canada. For more remote areas, please contact us prior to placing an order to see if we can ship to your location.

 

Standard Shipping

Standard shipping is free to most major cities and surrounding areas in Canada. 

STANDARD DELIVERY ENTAILS DOORSTEP DROP-OFF ONLY. Our delivery personnel or team will not enter your residence or undertake furniture assembly. For those residing in apartments or condominiums, the furniture will be delivered to the lobby and no further. With the exception of beds and dining tables, the majority of our larger furniture pieces come pre-assembled. It is crucial to ensure your comfort in transporting the furniture to its intended location within your home and verifying its compatibility with all doorways and stairwells. Feel free to reach out to us if you wish to upgrade to White Glove Delivery due to any concerns.

Smaller and medium-sized items are dispatched using courier services (such as Purolator, UPS, FedEx, or Canada Post).

Larger and oversized items are typically shipped through a freight carrier and/or a third-party delivery company, contingent on the location.

 

White Glove Delivery

White Glove service is offered in most regions and encompasses room placement, unpacking, minor assembly, and disposal of packaging. However, it does not cover tasks such as hanging art or installing lighting fixtures. Additional fees may be applicable for deliveries to rural areas, specific building types, or any other intricate delivery situations. Generally, White Glove delivery is scheduled within a specific time frame. In the event of items being rescheduled to a later backorder date, the second delivery fee will be waived.

Due to liability concerns, oversized and heavy items are not guaranteed to go beyond the main floor entry. It is advisable to verify weights and dimensions before placing an order, and we encourage you to reach out to us with any inquiries.

A representative from the local delivery company will get in touch with you when the shipment is prepared. Ensure that all walkways and the designated item placement area are clear and ready for the delivery. We kindly request you to inspect all items before the service provider's departure.

 

Lead Times

Items are sent directly from the distribution center to the address you've specified. Anticipate receiving contact within 48 hours of order placement, offering an estimated timeframe. This estimate is subject to stock availability, distribution logistics, and the shipping process.

Once the items are shipped, you will receive a tracking number to keep tabs on the package's journey. In cases where orders include multiple items, there could be more than one tracking number, each associated with distinct arrival dates.

 

Delays

Shipment or delivery delays may arise due to holidays, peak seasons, adverse weather conditions, or various other factors beyond our control. Such delays can extend the delivery window beyond the estimated time of arrival (ETA) or lead time provided at the time of order placement. We appreciate your understanding and patience during these instances, as we exert our best efforts to promptly deliver all items to our customers.

 

Cancellations & Returns

All items in our inventory are considered final sale.

If you wish to cancel an order, please reach out to us within 24 hours of placing the order. The refund will be processed using the original payment method within 24 hours and credited to your account within 3-5 business days. Regrettably, we cannot guarantee cancellations after 24 hours, as items may have already entered the shipping process. Once an order has been shipped, it is no longer eligible for cancellation.
